The Graffiti of Pompeii. Rebecca Benefiel studies graffiti. She believes it can tell a lot about a society's culture. Especially if it was written by people of all classes, about all manner of issues, and got placed on every type of venue -- from the public court house to the walls of private homes. Even if it was written 2000 years ago.
